EpicProduct!Review: Benefit Gimme Brow

Benefit Gimme Brow

Before trying this product, I had never used a brow gel. My thought was that setting them wasn’t necessary because the few hairs I have weren’t likely to rebel.

Then I came across a brow gel that is supposed to beef up your brows, not just set them. Benefit Gimme Brow is kind of like a fibre mascara for your eyebrows. It’s got teeny tiny tinted fibres in the formula that adhere to your natural eyebrow hairs, making brows look fuller. Since I’m crazy about fibre mascaras, I had to give this brow gel a shot.

I had high hopes, and I was not disappointed!

Benefit Gimme Brow brush

The brush is really little, and about the width of my brows at their thickest point. The formula doesn’t leave brows too crispy, but still sets everything in place. This doesn’t replace my usual brow powder, but paired on top of it, my eyebrows have never looked better.

My only complaint is that the stopper in the bottle leaves a little too much product on the brush, which can lead to clumps if you’re not careful – not a cute look! Still, it’s easy to correct with a spoolie (or just your fingers) since the product doesn’t set instantly.

Benefit Gimme Brow full face comparison

To give you an idea of Gimme Brow’s transformative powers, here’s a Harvey Dent-ian FOTD (face of the day). Clearly, I’ve filled and set the brow on the right, while the left one is naked. Clearly, the brow on the right is fuller and more defined. It’s due in part to powder, and in part to Benefit’s brilliant product.

I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who’s looking to pump up sparse brows!

  1. Love it!
PS. What shadows are you using here? It looks really pretty!

  2. Aw, thanks! They’re from Naked 3. It’s Liar and Factory, just put on real quick!
