The Best SPF I Have Ever Met

Soap & Glory Make Me Youthful Superfluid Sunshield

Soap & Glory is absolutely killing it.

We all know we should wear SPF every day. Yeah, yeah. But it’s difficult for me to find one that’s tolerable enough to actually put on my face on the daily. Ever since I started getting into makeup, I’ve struggled to find an SPF that:
a) doesn’t make my skin look horrendously oily, and
b) doesn’t leave a grey-white cast on my face.

Soap & Glory’s Make Yourself Youthful Sunshield Superfluid with SPF 50:
a) doesn’t make my skin look horrendously oily, and
b) doesn’t leave a grey-white cast on my face.

Seriously. It ticks all the boxes for me, and it’s inexpensive if you get it at Boots’s 3 for 2 sale. I’m not sure about any rejuvenating claims; I can see how wearing sunscreen can reduce sun damage, preventing premature signs of aging. What draws me to it is its mattifying and non-grey-ifying properties.

It’s even mom-approved! My mom’s a big sunscreen wearer, which – in conjunction with good genes – accounts for people mistaking her for my sister when we go out. My mom hates sunscreens that leave the white cast, and this one gets her seal of approval.

Her only complaint – and I have to agree with her – is the size. At 30 mL, it’s smaller than the average moisturizer or sunscreen. This means it’ll inevitably go quickly, because sunscreen isn’t something you can skimp on.

Despite this, this is an amazing SPF…and just in time for summer! If you’re UK-based or have access to the full S&G range, you’ll want to give it a try.

It's even dog-approved.
