The Vacation Get-Ready-With-Me

Vacay Dinner Face

I recently went on vacation with my family, and on the night I went to dinner with my boyfriend – which was basically the only time I wore makeup – I relied on a few favourite products to get me ready.

For my base, I used my Tarte BB Cream (not pictured because I didn’t bring the whole tube with me) and touched up spots with my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Amande. I powdered my face with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light

For brows, I used my Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony, which is a bit fiddly but totally worth the effort.

I primed my eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion, simply because it travels better than my beloved Nars one. I used a few shades from Naked 3, which I really don’t use enough. I then spent a significant amount of time fiddling with Benefit’s They’re Real Push Up Liner before curling my lashes and then mascara-ing with L’Oreal Lash Out Butterfly and Maybelline Illegal Length. I used Nars Matte Multiple in Exumas on the cheeks, and an equally-coral-y YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in 16 on the lips. Good ol’ Mary Lou was my highlight, and I finished with Urban Decay DeSlick Setting Spray (decanted into an All Nighter bottle).

Finally, my latest fragrance obsession is Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. I must say, it grew on me, and I purchased it just before my trip. My friend at the counter was kind enough to give me this itty bitty bottle for purse or travel.

If you’d like to see these products in action, there’ll be a vlog up soon (hopefully) on my YouTube channel!
