Cleansing balms are a bit of a big deal in the beauty world, particularly with the increasing popularity of face oils. I hadn’t tried a cleansing balm or butter before this one, but I had certainly tried oils. They’re great because they’re a one-stop-shop for all types of makeup removal, including waterproof mascara (which I use as a first coat).

I had never tried The Body Shop skincare, but I had heard good things about the Camomile Cleansing Butter – plus, it’s inexpensive, and for a first go at a type of product I don’t like to spend a ton of money. Read more!

April was a weird month for me. I spend 3 weeks out of 4 doing exams and only really finished two days ago. Also because of exams, I really didn’t have a ton of time to do beauty stuff (no matter how much I wanted to). So the other day I was strolling through the mall, on my way out to the bus stop, when I saw that Fruits & Passion had been replaced by a new store called “The Face Shop”. I had just come from The Body Shop, so I was somewhat amused, but I didn’t think much of it until I saw one of the window displays.
